Richard played 73 games for the Waratahs in the 1990’s and and also represented the Wallabies from 1991 to 1996 including the 1991 World Cup Winning Wallabies. He moved to England where he played for Gloucester for 3 years.

In 2018, he suffered a life changing spinal injury and now works as the General Manager for ‘Hearts in Rugby Union” which is a charity for seriously injured rugby players.

Richard has kindly given up his time to entertain all guests at the golf day with stories from his playing day, giving us his view on the state of rugby in Australia and explain his new role that he has with Rugby.
